from what i have been reading and a few searches on the net whiskey is a low carb drink, anyone know if jack daneils is included in that or how i can find out? thanks

Yes, Jack Daniels is allowed. Dr. Atkins lists in DANDR what alcohol is permitted after induction.

remember when you drink alcohol that there is alcohol sugars and your body will burn these before your other carbs
so it may stall you

Very true. The diet is put on hold because alcohol is used for energy before *anything* else. So by drinking alcohol it would merely be extending the diet. Daily use isn't likely to work because of how alcohol works on the rest of the body. But a drink here or there shouldn't be a huge problem.
