My heart goes out to you - I lost my Dad in October of last year.

One thing to remember is this - this is a WOL now, not just a diet. Situations and events are going to happen in your life that you can't control. Times are going to come and go where you are going to find yourself in the same situation you were in yesterday.

There is nothing wrong with what you did yesterday.

In order for this to be a WOL, something you can do long term, you can't let one day of eating bad affect where you are headed, or get you discouraged. There are probably going to be more days like yesterday, but - looking at your success so far - there are many more days like today and all the days you did eat right.

To put it in perspective - if you have a bad day like yesterday once a month, that meant that this year you will have eaten bad 12 times, and eaten right 353 times. Even with these numbers you are still eating right 96.5% of the time. To me that sounds a lot like success and reaching your goals!!

Keep you eyes on the goal, not the obstacles

Thanks everyone. I couldn't put the test off, it was registered and paid for by my office, but I failed it. So now I have to re-take it in May at my own expense. My dad is going to pay for half of it though, so it will only be about $50. Thank goodness.

I had a really nice weekend visiting and crying with my family, and I went prepared. I brought Advantage shakes and Pria bars to munch on when everyone was eating. The only thing I did bad all weekend was that slice of cheesecake......but I only ate half of it. It didn't taste as good as I remember. I like mine better, made with splenda. I guess your tastebuds change along with everything else, eh?
