Gave up fake food -- stall broken
Since last fall I've been eating low carb -- again -- but without results. My weight has been stuck at the same place for five months. I've been in ketosis some of that time.
I finally decided to do what I knew I needed to -- I gave up the fake stuff and alcohol. Although I've been diligently low carb, I've been eating low carb crackers, low carb chips, low carb tortillas, low carb candy, etc, and drinking a glass or two of wine with dinner. By giving it up, the scale finally moved 8 pounds in a week!
I did end up keeping the low carb protein shakes because they have no sugar alcohols or hidden carbs.
Just thought I'd relay my experience to anyone else who's struggling or wondering if the low carb products are causing them problems.
