Default Only a minor slip up????

Ok, today........after a week on induction and one cheat (snuck some popcorn at the movies on friday) I had an outing today. Went to see Chicago the musical (was fantastic) and went to Olive Garden for lunch. The ENTIRE menu looked sooooooo good! I ordered eggplant parm. and had practically an entire bowl of salad to myself! I didn't have any breadsticks, and pushed the pasta that came with the eggplant aside. My only major cave was having some peach tea instead of water. Was that so bad?

The thing is, I don't actually feel guilty about it! Ha! BUT by putting it on here I'm holding myself accountable.

Umm, I am sorry what is the cheat your feeling bad about?

Too much salad?? - bit of a technalicaty that 3 cups, but is there really such a thing if you are under 20g of carbs? I mean I don't think an 'entire bowl of salad to yourself' will do anything but help.

The 'major cave' of peach tea? Most peach teas don't have caffeine, and there is nothing wrong with uncaffenited herbal teas in principle...

It's good you don't feel 'that bad' the real question is why it has occurred to you that you should!!

Unless the tea was sugar-sweetened.....in which case, just pick up and move on.

I don't know. I guess after reading this board and the Atkins stuff I just didn't didn't want to totally ruin everything I'd started. I really don't feel all that guilty and I guess I just needed a little affirmation from you guys! Thanks everyone.

It was sugar sweetened, but I got over it real quick. Tomorrow is another day that begins a whole new week of staying on track.
