Congratulations Jen!

If you don't mind, could you tell us how the 8 months went.

How long did you do induction?
Did you follow the OWL rungs strictly?
Did you frequently use LC frankenfoods?
Anything else you did that attribute to your quick success?

How long did you do induction? I followed it strictly for the first 4 months

Did you follow the OWL rungs strictly? I have only gone up to about 30 grams by adding in nuts occasionally and limiting fruits to berries and plums.

Did you frequently use LC frankenfoods? I tried to do the low carb bars and they completely stalled me out!!! I stay away from them now. I do do the Atkins pancakes for breakfast though.

Anything else you did that attribute to your quick success?I would just say sticking to it and exercising. I took it one day at a time and it did eventually come off. No cheats either. I really don't have a desire for carby foods anymore.

Out of curiosity Jen, do you track your cals/fat etc daily? I recently have been trying to only count the carbs, as I was becoming a slave to fitday and numbers. I keep worrying about the cals in the back of my head, and am looking for stories from people who have succeeded by only counting carbs.

I never use fitday and just rely on the carb counts. Now that I know which foods I can eat, I rarely keep an exact number going in my head.
