Unhappy what to eat with an upset stomach?

my stomach is really jacked up today. i woke up very nauseated and *blush* gassy, and now it just hurts. (i think the culprit was too much SF candy last night. bad girl!) does anyone have any suggestions as to what can i eat that is on plan but wont be upsetting to my stomach?

my tummy and i thank you in advance.

Curly,
try some chicken breast cooked in chicken broth/stock. That should be easy on your stomach till it gets over the s/f candy overdose! :-)

Simmer some chicken broth, take a couple raw eggs and whip them together as if you were going to make scrambled eggs. Slowly spoon bits of the whipped egg in to the simmering broth. Voila! Faux egg drop soup, easy and tasty, and easy on the stomach too.

Hey--that that chicken in broth idea sounds GREAT!

When I get icky feeling like that, I always look for gentle grain carbs, like popcorn (well, it's gentle to me!) or oat bran/wheat bran. For some reason I feel like it helps to settle my stomach, but it certainly adds up in the carb dept.!

Try peppermint tea (the herbal kind). It is very settling to the stomach.
