Well I was at the endocrinologist today and am no further ahead. The good news is that I have not had any lightheadedness / disorientation episodes since just after Christmas.

The doctor didn't know why this would happen; she says it's not likely blood sugar since it's too soon after eating.

Since I am not getting the spells any more, she will not pursue it any further.

Well that sounds like good news! You're not getting the spells anymore! So what lifestyle plan are you presently following now?

I switched to Somersizing because I wanted added fibre in my diet and am still following this plan.

My typical day's food during the week is:

Breakfast:
1/3 cup oatmeal mixed with 1/3 cup bran in microwave with Splenda

Lunch:
Salad greens, celery, tomato, topped with about 3 oz deli meat (usually turkey)
and 2 T. Caesar salad dressing

Dinner:
Salad with dressing
Some type of meat
Cooked veggies, usually stir-fry mixture of veggies, sometimes with salad dressing or sometimes with soya sauce

On weekends, I'll usually have eggs instead of the deli meat lunch or some other variations depending on what's on the go.

I drink about 12-15 cups of water a day and supplement with a multi-vitamin, calcium, magnesium, Vitamin D and potassium.

I track most days on fitday.com and the carbs generally hover around 60 g a day. (Don't look at February 14th -- it was much higher!!)

As I said, I no longer have these spells and am happy with what I am eating and the speed of my weight loss.
