I just picked up a case yesterday in BBY. I was hoping that they would have the flavoured botanical water but I think a trip to Bellingham/Burlington is required for that - just haven't been able to get it here.

I was at the Burnaby Costco this weekend and couldn't find the porkrinds this time

hopefully they're not having trouble keeping them in stock! They definately have the best price on rinds that I've been able to find (works out to just under a dollar a bag).

They did have the gensoy chips, but at 8 gr. per 15 chips.... well, I don't even trust myself to stop at 15 chips LOL - even if I did, 8 gr. is a bit high for me, so no chips for me :/

Talking Rain is available at Kelowna costco as well, but we also have a new lc store that sells SF Jones Soda
sweetened w/ splenda. I heard it's fantastic.

Talking Rain is a fruit juice sweetened with Splenda. It comes carbonated, and regular.

Teresa,

I go to the Costco in Surrey once every week or two.....everytime that I have been there they have had the Talking Rain Botanicals....maybe you can save yourself a trip across the line. I'll be going to Costco again tomorrow and will post here again to let you know if it's still in stock....

Got a case of Talking Rain Botanicals today at Costco.....there were only a few left though Teresa. However......when you decide to make your way south....perhaps swing by the Surrey Costco first and maybe you can avoid waiting in line at the border

Yesterday the Costco in Langford {Vanc. Island} had
Atkins Ketchup [2 pack] for $5 something.
Atkins Brownie mix 2 pack. Sorry not sure here but I think maybe $8 something.
Talking Rain Carbonated and Not Carbonated $17 something for 24
Genisoy crunch bars and another new type of LC bar
Think that was it

I'm going to have to look for those Atkins kethup 2 packs. I need more Ketchup. Hopefully our costco has them. That's a pretty good price because Save On has one bottle for $4.95. I haven't tried Atkins ketchup though.

Or if you want to try your own this ketchup is sensational and so simple no cooking or nothing.
Just make sure you get a good quality tomato paste with no sugar in it. I used Hunts and it was great.
I used crunched up onion it instead of the powder worked a-ok
I used stevia which lowers the carbs more

BETTER "HEINZ" KETCHUP
6 ounce can tomato paste*
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
5 teaspoons Splenda or about 1/8 teaspoon liquid Splenda
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
Very tiny pinch or up to 1/8 teaspoon each ground cloves, cinnamon and garlic powder

Mix all ingredients well. Be sure to add the spices. They are important for that "Heinz" flavor.
Makes 1 1/3 cups

Made with granulated Splenda:

* 1 cup - 23 usable carbs
* 1/4 cup - 6 usable carbs
* 1 tablespoon - 1.5 usable carbs
* 1 teaspoon - .5 usable carbs

Made with liquid Splenda:

* 1 cup - 21.5 usable carbs
* 1/4 cup - 5.5 usable carbs
* 1 tablespoon - 1.5 usable carbs
* 1 teaspoon - .5 usable carbs

* The first couple times I made this, I used Kroger brand tomato paste and it came out very thick and had a somewhat odd, almost grainy texture. This time I used Hunt's brand and the texture is much more like real ketchup, but is quite a bit thinner. I suggest slowly adding the water until you get the consistency you like. Of course, using less water will alter the total carb count because you'll have less ketchup, but I don't think it will be off by too much.

The Costco in Richmond has the Atkins Ketchup 2 bottles $5.99, they also have the Atkins Baking Mix for $9.69 for one can (same size that it is everywhere). I didn't see the Brownie mix at all. They also have a new kind of Low Carb Bar, sorry forget the name it was expensive at 15 for $27.99. The sample lady said she found it had a diet taste, similar to the advantage bars, which I personally don't care for.

Bought the Atkins ketchup...a bit sweet but still good. Tasted one of the Genisoy Crunch bars...they had samples...the one I tried was pretty good. Saw the LC pitas and LC tortillas (Dempsters I think) but the carb count was too high for me. Didn't come across the bake mixes but then again I wasn't looking for them.

Will let you know when I try it - we are hooked on President's Choice Ketchup - much better tasting than Heinz. My kids won't eat Heinz any more!

Tom.
