Default Cooking and Freezing

Good morning everyone!
I will be doing a bunch of batch cooking this weekend and am wondering about the things that I can put in the freezer. Will mayonaise based salads, tuna, shrimp, chicken freeze well? How about SF Jello? Veggies sauted in butter? Bacon? Scrammbled eggs w/cheese in?
Also anything that I should NOT attempt to freeze?

Thanks in advance

Gee, I have frozen just about everything, but I'm not sure about those salads, it might change the mix of the mayo? The veggies will be fine, do them in snall zip lock bags in serving sizes. Eggs I'd say nope, would go watery, Jello why, it lasts so long anyways :>) Bacon will be fine in small bags as well.

Good for you for preparing ahead, it sure helps things go easier.
Good Luck!
Kathy

It's good to see that you want to get prepared! But no. All of these things will break down during freezing and become watery. Especially the Jell-o and so will the eggs.

What you may want to do is chop the vegetables in advance for the salads and when you want to eat a certain salad, open the tin, add vegetables and mayonnaise and eat. All of these salads will last 3-4 days in the fridge if they're pre-made anyway and Jell-o lasts a bit longer but it will get a bit watery. Cooked bacon will last at least 5 days.
