Unhappy Whoosh ... and then back again.

I was so excited...had a big whoosh (3.5 lbs.) a few days ago and immediately the next day I gained 2 of those pounds back and have been holding steady at 157. Does this happen to you? I didn't change my eating habits at all. Getting a little frustrated.

Yep, happens to us all. And yes, we're all frustrated. I wooshed 2 pounds on the weekend, then due to fluid retention was up those two yesterday. But when I measured this morning, I had lost another half inch in a week. I love my measuring tape and pretty much ignore the scale.

And drinking water to the point of nausea yesterday (I'm just not a big water drinker), I'm sure I lost those 2 again. Based on my worn out carpet trail from the living room to the bathroom last night.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Just keep on track! You're doing great!

At least you are down 1.5 lbs. That is something. It happens to me too.

weighing yourself everyday is going to cause disappointments like this.

Weight yourself once a week for a better overall picture of your weight loss.

Yeah, I know that I should weigh myself once a week...but I'm addicted to the scale! Even though I do weigh myself every day I keep a line graph of my WEEKLY progress. I do like those results much better than the ups and downs of my daily numbers.

I weigh daily now (I know I should be shot) and my weight flucuates 2lbs up and down. It is annoying but my clothes keep getting looser. Pay no attention to that #~!%^~ scale! lol

Don't you just love losing as if you were on a rollar coaster? I find it happens alot for women for we deal with our cycles. Men drop, stall, drop, stall. We go up and down depending on what time of the month it is. Keep track of when you gain and when you lose, I found if I drink more water when I'm losing I don't gain so much. Its like when I lose all my water I become dehydrated so when I drink water I gain a few pounds. Maybe its the same with you.
