Low Carb Ben & Jerry's?

My life is now complete.

Only problem is, it'll probably take a decade to get to the UK.

It cracks me up how much dietary fiber is in low carb ice cream!

Looks like these guys will be coming in pints, dunno if it'll be in the regular cone shops.

The half baked has 18 total Carbs with 4 of those in fiber and 9 sugar alcohols. (5 net carbs)

did anyone notice the no sugar added flavors? strawberry and new york fudge chunk (Chocolate Ice Cream with White & Dark Fudge Chunks, Pecans, Walnuts & Fudge Covered Almonds). I think both were around 5 net carbs. Wow, it amazes me that we now have so many LC options!!!
Have a good LC day everyone.

tholian8 - I second that! There are just a handful of foods that I need to live la vida low carb, and Ben and Jerry's is one. If it was anything but icecream, I'd pack you up a batch and send it.

Was almost afraid to read this....but it's not a rumor. The cold, hard facts. LC Life is good, and now we have the evidence. There are few things I miss in my LC life, but gooooood ice cream was one. Definitely a treat. Thanks for the info. Oh I hope this gets into our stores sooooooon. Has anyone seen it on the shelves?

Default I saw it in my supermarket

I saw it at my supermarket (in NYC) last night.. I didn't buy it because it has sooo many more calories than the other LC ice creams. (180).. Le Carb has like 110, Breyers has 130 and I think the atkins ones are around 180 or so too.

I don't count calories so much for my meals, but treats I like to keep at a minimum

Well we went to our local ben and jerry's ice cream parlor and tried the low carb ice creams. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! All the had were the chocolate and the vanilla almond. My wife and I split a scoop of chocolate. We tastes the vanilla almond and the sugarfree blueberry. Both were delish.
We did get funny looks going for icecream when it was5 below zero out but we had been craving ben's for a very long time and read here today it was out!!!
All and all it was worth the 35 mile trip lol

My local grocery store just got all the new lc Ben & Jerry flavors in (Harris Tetter). I got the half baked carb karma with cookie dough and brownie chuncks - 5 net carbs for 1/2 cup. WOW!!! It was soooo good. I just had 1/3 cup and made my dh promise to guard the cartoon with his life in case I went off the deep end and tried to eat the entire pint I give it an A+ IF you are good at portion control for snacks. This is the life - lc living has gotten so easy now. We have Ben & Jerry's, yogurt, chocolate, lots of quick and easy things and more products coming out with splenda all the time. Yeah!

I checked the local store earlier this week, and sure enough they had it in stock! Looked very very tempting, but I decided to hold off. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to stick to the recommended serving size. (4 servings out of that little container? ) Great to see I will have something to turn to when the summer rolls around.
