Liver enzymes

Hello I just joined the forum and this is my first day on a low carb diet. I was wondering if there is any evidece that these diets effect liver enzyme levels

hello Omaha,

If your liver is currently healthy, then there will be no effect on the liver enzymes. If you have a pre-existing liver disease, such as a fatty liver or cirrhosis, then there may be elevations of some enzymes in response to increased dietary fat.
