No. Anyone that eats with me eats the same food I cook - and it is all low carb. I make 'noodles' by dribbling and egg mixture in from a spoon and I 'breadcrumb' with low carb bread made from almond flour. No one has ever objected and I know I'm feeding them healthier.

I have tried to take the coating of KFC but I ended up eating it anyway and then being sorry afterwards!

I pick foods out of what I made all the time, especially with crock pot dinners. Never caused me to stall. Carrots add sweetness so I suppose some of the sugar must be cooking out. I don't use as many as I used to pre LC days. I make sure that I remove potatoes before they crumble and begin to fall apart.

I use almond flour for breading for the whole family but if I was cooking for a lot of people I would use regular bread crumbs for them since they cost so much less than the almond flour.

The carrots would add flavor and should not be a problem. The noodles may add starch to the broth, but I wouldn't think it was that much. If it worries you you can always remove a small portion of the soup for you before adding in the noodles for the rest of the family since they are usually the last thing put in aren't they?
