Default Low Carb Fast Food Choices!!

Ok - so Tuesday I had the Subway's low carb (net 11 countable carbs accorting to them) chicken bacon wrap - Extremely nummy and FULL of chicken!

Today I had the Carl's Jr. Low Carb $6 burger combo meal - came with salad and my choice of drink (diet coke of course) the burger is a full sized burger, I had them leave the catsup off. The burger and the trimmings you want are wrapped nice and secure in lots of luttuce! It was great!

More and More choices coming our way!
Has anybody else tried any of these or any other of the new choices being offered?

if you had the chicken bacon wrap that is only 8 carbs, the turkey bacon melt wrap is the one with 11 carbs, and not as good IMHO

Cool - lets keep this updated - I love to go to Wendy as well - get a double cheese burger with no ketchut too - I throw away the bun and toss it on top of their caesar salad - expensive but extremely nummy when you are in need of a treat.

Default McDonald's Breakfast

I am happy to report that this morning, I went to McDonald's, ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg, without the muffin. The girl at the window knew how I wanted it, and included a fork without me having to ask her! AND it was in the little cardboard box correctly -- sausage on bottom, egg, then cheese on top, so nothing stuck to the box!
Yay!

Default Last evening

Stuck in the Mall with my family.
Food Court Selections -
Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Subway, Arby's, Platters (salads, etc), Orange Julius - I think I have them all

Could have had something from the Japanese place - did one other time - a vegetable soup, I believe.

Could have had Greek, less the Pita Bread

Chose Arby's
She was a little puzzled when I ordered the roast beef without the bun, and a side salad with just vinegar, but I didn't want the extra carbs in the dressing, or any accompaniments they decide to put on the beef, so she put it in a container by itself. A little salty, but not bad. Picked the carrots out of the salad, and was left with lettuce, a little red cabbage, a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber.

Subway wraps are wonderful, Hardees , and Wendys etc. I just hope they're not "for a limited time only"
Ya know?

Thumbs up

Lots of Low carb choices . . hopefully more coming our way. I'm a NEWBIE and have been reading the post anad getting acquainted with how to use this site. ITS GREAT! This is such a great place with so many ideas and stories to share.

Lets try to keep this thread updated. I've not had any of the low carb fast food choices yet, but next week we are going to ND (my husband is from there) and I know I'll be faced with LOTS OF FATTENING FOODS and hopefully I'll be able to find a few good choices.

In-N-Out has had protein style burgers for quite a long time, and by far they are the best fast-food burger you can get(and probably better than any restaurant)

Burger King has low carb burgers/chicken now.
Whopper, Double Whopper and Chicken Whopper low carb platters. I had the double and it was good.. They put it in a tray with a lid and gave you a knife and fork. Tasted just like a whopper!
I have read that they are going to be having dinner size salads before long also. Chicken and shrimp to begin with and steak strip later.

Thanks for the Burger king tip. I didn't know they were going low-carb. I love the Jersey Mike's new "sub in a tub", Just like a sub but in a tub.

Does anyone know why Wendy's has not gone low-carb yet?
