Angry fitday question

I went to our work cafeteria and got about a cup of tuna salad..
Thinking that if its just tuna and mayo then Im okay..
and thats all I think was in there..

I entered it to fitday.. (first day using it)
and 1 cup of tunasalad has 20g of carbs??

If I make it at home, one can of tuna plus one or so tbls of mayo CAN NOT BE 20 grams..

Is that right??
How do i know..

Im guessing on the one cup thing but it was one cup or under so I was over estimating..

I just wanted to see how much I was actually consuming..

The tuna salad on fitday consists of onions and celery, the mayo may be "light" as well. The best bet is to enter everything separately then you'll have an accurate count, however, buying it from the cafeteria you can't be sure what they use and what's in it, you can make a load of it at home, then you know for sure what you're actually eating.

Yes, view the tuna salad ingredients on fitday and you might find things that were not in your salad.

Rather enter the ingredients that were in the salad seperately.

The problem with cafateria salad though is they may use miricle whip, light mayo, or even add sugar to improve taste. You can't always know what's in there.

I agree look at the ingredient list on fitdays though. They may be throwing in odd things like it tends to. According to it, everyone cookes with margerine and tons of salt
