Default Food Network Spa Chef show

I am watching the Spa chef challenge show on FN right now and I feel so sorry for the participants, 2 out of the 3 are really struggling with the low fat, high carb approach they are being coached to take. I see much of myself a few years ago in them. In contrast the low carbers interviewed on the Low Carb Revolution show on at 3:00 never complained of hunger.

I saw that show last week too, and I kept saying "If you were on Atkins you wouldn't have so much trouble losing this weight".

But they didn't hear me!!

The food choices allowed on Atkins lead one into gourmet cooking. I can't imagine ever being bored or feeling hungry after a meal.

Also, everyone on the Spa Chef diet complained about introducing veggies that they have never eaten before. I felt dissed when the woman said what the heck is Kale?

I saw this show.. and thought the same to myself..
why are they putting themselves thru this..
and the lady when she was taking a spoon full of icecream as a treat.. and it lead her to cheat more...

I wish the could have been shown a different approach..
They make their own choices.. and there is enough information out there for most to make an informative decision on their own...

I just wish sometimes i'd known about this style of eating years ago...
