Default Sigh.....

Went to my sister's last night for my step father's birthday and we had chinese food. Even though I stuck to the meat and veggie dishes (without sweet sauces) and one springroll with a little bit of plum sauce it was obviously too much. Out of ketosis and up 5 pounds!

Oh well, back at it.......at least now the holiday/birthday season is over for a bit so I don't have to eat at anyone else's house for a while.

Hi Mandra, Most of it is probably water gain from bloating up from the different/wrong food. Drink plenty of water and wash it out. I'm with you just got past the last birthday (my own) and now have to jump back on track too, but you know it doesn't seem worth it after you do it does it?

Chinese food is high in sodium. i'm sure most of it was water weight that will come off. If you think about it, to gain five pounds of actual fat overnight You would have had to consume 17,500 calories. i don't think even on my biggest binge ever i came close to that .. smiles

17,000 calories hmmm... I dunno I can eat a lot of chinese food...

But she is right, most likely is mostly water and it will be gone soon enough.
