Oh, I am pissed. I was really looking forward to a cheap alternative to importing LC sauces from the states, and thought that finally a large company got a clue. Instead we get passed over again.

Well why don't we all send emails to Heinz?

There's power in numbers. My grocery stores can't keep LC item on the shelves!

I agree completely with the letter writing suggestion...

...and qualify your communiques with some solid data about the numbers of people in Canada following LC plans etc. You may want to check the Media/Research area of this forum for some numbers of just do a basic search for that information on the Internet. Marketing people can sometimes be short sighted...

Several recipes for ketchup and other yummy stuff. I made the one using tomato paste(I think UNICO had only tomatoes and salt...no sugar etc, tweaked it a little...added tad more vinegar, a touch of Worchestershire sauce, a bit if Dijon etc, until I loved the taste BETTER than HEINZ...so nyah nyah Heinz and all you LC merchandisers who will cheerfully ignore us or rip us off 8 bucks for a couple of bucks worth in ingredients. Sadly I had already ordered one bottle online before a pal here put me onto this site. I did like the bottle I got, but it tastes almost chili sausish...not ketchuppy! LOL
