Default My Introduction

Hey there fellow Atkid's. Hopefully I've done this correctly. I am trying to post in the Introduction as suggested by some other boards. I've tried Atkins on and off a couple of times. I had been very successful back in 98 losing almost 100 lbs. But life happened, boyfriend break up, parent sick and I ate myself into
oblivion. I'm now trying to get control of my life back and change my eating
habits. I know low carbing works best for me. I am a Type 2 Diabetic. Although
I need to lose over 100 lbs. I am trying to focus on making a lifestyle change and concentrate on healthy eating, healthy lifestyle and hopefully the weight will come off as a result of that. I hope to obtain support from the board. Of others that have achieved this goal and understand the special struggle that comes with a large amount of weight loss. The support needed for such a long journey and the importance of sticking with it. I'm pretty familiar with the program itself. I utilize Dr. Atkins Basic #3, Dieters Advantage and Essential Oils.

At 39 years old this round is just a little tougher. I've heard from some people that the 2nd time around maybe not be as succesful as the first. But I have to
atleast try. I welcome your experiences and suggestions.

Hi there and welcome! I am glad that you have joined us. When I started Atkins I had over 80 pounds to lose. This does work but you already know that. We are here for you sweetie! Good luck and check in often. Have you looked at the triple digits club on here? It is for people that have 100 or more pounds to lose and I find it very interesting. There are lots of great people here. You will like it!
