Default loss after 1 week

Well, I am back to this WOL after a long break. I put on about 10 pounds during that time. Anyway, I have been lcing for a week and only lost 2 pounds, lst time I lost 6 the first week. I know I know, a million different things can fluctuate weight loss, I guess I am just discouraged as my husband is cheating like crazy and still losing. I have always been a slow loser and I promise myself that this time I will NOT let it get the better of me. What do you all do when you start to feel frustrated and let down?

I remember...

I remember the weight/size/fat that I have lost (2,10,15 or 25)
I remember abusing my own body taking diet pills to kill the hunger of the low fat plans.
I remember having very few cloth to wear
I remember feeling hopeless and ashamed of myself after a new plan that didnt work
I don't want to be there anymore...

When I'm feeling that way, I remind myself that this is a lifestyle change, not a "diet", and I'm prepared and committed to eating this way forever. It doesn't matter if I never lost another pound, I'm eating this way forever.

I want to say congratulations for only putting on 10 pounds during your detour! You must've been doing something almost right there.

And men, don't ya just want to slap them sometimes? They can get away with soooo much more than we women can!

Just hang in there, and remember, as said, this is a way of life.

I'm on my third time and lose very slowly. I'm happy with that, - at least I'm not gaining !

Good luck to you !!!

Yes, welcome back - it will take longer this time. Men lose quicker and easier because they've got more muscle mass. Maybe you could take up some form of excercise to help things along?
