Default Questions about vitamins and cold medicine...

I have been sick for nearly three weeks now, and haven't been taking any cold medicine because it hasn't been convenient to take at RM and I'm afraid to take it any other time. The only exceptions being around the holidays when I was already off-plan and didn't care. Now, I'm back on track, and my mom keeps telling me to take some sudafed, but I worry that it could cause a problem with the weight loss? Taking it only once a day won't help much.

Also, I try to take my vitamins during RM, but sometimes I forget! Tonight for example, I just took them 2 hours later when I got home. And I'm used to splitting them into two doses, for better absorption and all that. Can taking vitamins during CM stall you?

Ideas/suggestions?

Sango, I too have had to take cold meds. I have taken them even though they probably have some sugar. (It is the cough medicine) I got some diabetic kind but it was so awlful that I just couldn't take it again! I have still lost weight but imagine it has slowed it some. I have no idea about products like sudafed.

I have been taking my vitamin at breakfast and supper. Are we supposed to only take it at the rw? If so I have been messing up!

I'd say if it's a tablet, take it whenever you need it.

Pill form cold medicine and vitamins shouldn't bother you as long as they contain no sugars and starches. A lot of them do so check the lables.
