Smile Russel Stover Low Carb Bars

Some friends of mine are doing Atkins and swear by the Russell Stover low carb "candy" bars (0.3-1.3 carbs). They used them on induction and are losing fine. I did try one and they were very good. Do you think these are okay? Has anyone tried them? Thanks.

I'm sure any number of naysayers will stop by to respond to you, but I love them and don't think they stall me. My weight loss goals are small at this point, however. Some people have problems with the laxative effect of them, but I haven't found that to be true for me. Bear in mind, I only eat a small amount of them each day.

The only negative effect I have found from them, is that I never ate candy before lcing, and now I seem to want the Russell Stover treat at least once a day. And you want to keep in mind that they do contain calories, which, I think, whatever Dr. Atkins said, do matter in the long run.....

Your mileage may vary....I don't know what your demons are! In my case, if someone came out with a clone for Cheetos that taste just like the real thing, I would have no control.

Forgot to mention that 239 people will stop by to warn you that RS contains transfat. Do with that info what you will.....

Kay

Thanks for you viewpoint Kay. At this point I am just trying to make it through the day and not too worried about transfats. I'm sure lcing has decreased the huge amount of them I was getting in baked good. I guess as long as I am losing, I won't worry too much about it. Congratulations on your weight loss and keep up the good work!
