Question can anyone help me with this ketosis stick?

hi all!! ive been doing atkins for 81 days now and have been extremely successful so far! ive lost over 50 pounds now and over 23.5 inches!! anyway, my question is this....why when i checked my ketosis stick was is sooooooo deep purple?? like the second i pulled it out of the pee it IMMEDIATELY turned this super dark purple that it hasnt ever shown before? is this good or bad? should i be happy? or sad?? lol

any answers?? PLEASE!!!

I can't speak for you but when my turns dark purple, it generally means that I'm dehydrated. My strip typically only shows a trace - small, at most. The only time it moves to moderate or beyond is when I haven't been drinking my water.

Yep, that is usually the cause...not enough water.

Yes, it could mean that you are dehydrated, or it could be that you've just drunk some alcohol, or that you've just had a very fatty meal. Or you could be very efficiently burning lots of fat.

To answer your question, it is neither good nor bad - it just is.

Personally, I think using ketostix is a total waste of time and money. You've lost 50 pounds - well done! Who cares what colour the stix are!
