Talking I've been LC'ing for half a year!!!

Wow! As I was typing "Week 26" in my signature this morning, I realized that 26 weeks is half a year!!

I have never, NEVER stuck to an eating plan for half a year before! My old WOE was to start a new diet every Monday, cheat by Wednesday, and plan on starting a new one the next Monday. Now I haven't eaten anything high carb in 6 months, and I don't want to. I am so, SO happy with my new WOE.

The ONE thing that would make me happier is to break this damn 4-week stall. But I'm working on that...

I have been doing Atkins for almost two years and like you I love this woe. You might check out the tips in http://atkins.com/ and see if maybe your menu is causing your stall. I hope it helps your stall. Congrads on your 6 month anniversary. You are doing great. I hope this helps.

I have been doing this WOL for almost a year now. I know I can stay with it forever. I losing very slowly, but as I plan to eat like this for the rest of my life, it doesn't really make any difference how fast I lose the weight. My blood sugar is under really good control, as is the rest of my health. I have no problems staying at 20 -25 carbs. I enjoy the foods I eat and I'm not feeling deprived in any way.

I'm looking at a year in March. I've NEVER stuck to a diet plan this long. Usually only a few weeks at a time of half-assed attempts at low fat diets. Ick! I am seeing results I never thought would be mine. I see no point in trying to go off my LC WOL.

Hi Jeanine!
I will join your celebration! I´m beginning my 27 week today! As you, this is the first time in my life that I can stick to a diet for so long. Oh yes. that is a clear indication that we now have a new way of eating for the rest of our lives!
Hope you can brake the stall soon.

Thanks for all of your good wishes re: my stall. Actually, I KNOW why I stalled -- I've been traveling almost non-stop on business since the first week of November. I find that LC'ing is pretty easy on the road, but exercise, that's another story. I'm home until after Christmas now and it will be Nordic Trak 6 days a week (dammit!).
