Default Poll on daily carbs

I would love to know how many carbs people are eating to continue to lose weight?

1. How many carbs are you currently eating daily?
2. How long have you been on Atkins?
3. If you've reached goal or are near, have you had to reduce carbs for those last few pounds.

THANKS!

1. How many carbs are you currently eating daily? 25-30 (slowly working on adding in extra carbs for maintenance)

2. How long have you been on Atkins? Since mid September

3. If you've reached goal or are near, have you had to reduce carbs for those last few pounds. I reached my goal last week, (21 pounds GONE!! YAY!) I stayed between 20-25 carbs the whole time, induction levels, but not limited to induction foods.

I've been on Atkins since August. I've been staying close to induction level carbs, usually 20-30 per day and kept losing.
The past few weeks I have had several days where I have gone up as high as 50 g of carbs and am still losing.

I've been on Atkins 7 months and have kept my carb level around 20 per day with a loss of about 60 lbs.

1. How many carbs are you currently eating daily?

The last 2 weeks I've been between 20-30 g daily. I want to see if I can shed a few lbs before New Year's Eve. But for the last 3 months I have been experimenting to see what my CCLL is, going as high as 50-60 g/day and maintaining.

2. How long have you been on Atkins?

Since May this time around. I lost about 10 lbs in the first 4 months, then the loss slowed dramatically when I started increasing the carbs (see answer to #1). I had only 18 lbs to lose total when I started.

3. If you've reached goal or are near, have you had to reduce carbs for those last few pounds?

I'm about 7 lbs from goal. Since I haven't been eating at induction or OWL levels my weight has been constant for a while. See answer to #1.

This is really good to know. I'm hoping I'm not stuck at 25 carbs for the rest of my life. I would love to know if I could actually ever even maintain at around 45 carbs. I would be happy. I still have quit a bit to go.

1) 20 to 25 carbs a day

2) Hitting 10 months.

3) Hit my goal of 147 for Thanksgiving, now reset it lower. *Carb level staying the say the whole time.

* I would like to add, that I am now so set in my ways and what I eat that the carbs automatically fall in that range. It is not something that I work at keeping there. This is the only reason that I have not added more carbs in.

1. How many carbs are you currently eating daily?

I try and make sure theyre between 70-80 net because Im still trying to find out how many I can eat and not gain or have bad side effects (bloating, etc)

2. How long have you been on Atkins?

Mmm...June or July 2003? 6 months or so?

3. If you've reached goal or are near, have you had to reduce carbs for those last few pounds.

Im well below goal, and never moved through the phases properly so I kinda screwed up...Cant answer the question? I continued to lose as I upped carbs though..

I am at 25 right now and slowly working my way up...I dont use fitday to tally so I just make sure I hit 20 each day and then follow my stomach. If I am hungry I eat more.

I am too lazy to count carbs. I would guess that I usually keep it around 20, but some days more and some days less. I dont weigh or measure my food and i have no idea how to measure how many cups of spinach I have in my salad. My main concern is keeping my blood sugar under control, which I have done very well. I have been on adkins for many years, I dont really know how long it has been. My weight loss is fairly slow, but comes in spurts with long stalls inbetween. I dont worry about this as long as I dont gain. I seem to have to really pay attention to the carbs and not let the fat get too high if I want to get things moving.
