I eat the SF Sweet & low candies (hard ones) that also made from Isomalt and would like to know the answer to this - - isn't isomalt a sugar alcohol? If so than I don't think that should be a problem.

Anyone?

I believe they are ok. Just be aware of how the sweetener reacts in your body. Personally Isomalt doesnt agree with my digestive system and if I eat more than 1, many times I get kicked out of ketosis. I have the same problem with the Hersheys SF chocolates.

Where do you find the Baskin Robins candies? Are they only in the ice cream stores?

I would have the candy in moderation. You have to see what it does to your weight loss progress. If you stall, you may want to reconsider the candy.

Just like real candy, you should only be eating it once in awhile

I first found them at Eckerds but have also seen them in WalMart in the sugar-free candy section.

It is a hard cand and the only flavor I've seen in Chocolate Mint.

Isomalt is ok, along with malitol, sucralose and other sugar alcohols. Many products read that excessive consumption can result in a laxative effect. (TMI coming) I have to agree with that statement however I dont seem to have a problem with sucralose.
