Smile New at this... want to say hello

Hello all. I'm a mom of 4 who stays at home for now while hubby is in school. Lots of time to eat, huh? Well, I started a form of Atkins a little over a month ago and have lost 12 pounds as of a week ago. I work out 5 days a week at home for 45 mins and walk a mile 6 days a week. I feel really good now. I feel really healthy, unlike before.
Just wanted to say hello and I don't really know what i'm doing. So, be patient with me.

Hi w82bthin!

where in KS are you? I live in the KC suburbs--there are a few of us online here!

You are doing really great! This is a fun place to share ideas and get support. Come visit my journal (just click on the journal icon at the bottom of my post) and when you're ready, start one of your own!

I've been a stay at home mom, but I only have one child and he's nearly 13 now (but not quite independent...) how are you managing w/spouse in school? Is he working too? Mine works & I'm in school now and working part time.

Welcome to the forum!!!!

I live around the Topeka area. Glad to see a fellow kansan.
It's hard having a hubby in school now and working I also babysit three other children. So, I just try to stay busy with them instead of the fridge.
Think I'll visit your journal now. thanks
