Unhappy Am I doing something wrong?

As i've looked through a lot of these posts I see that a lot of people have lost quite a bit during induction. I've pretty much already decided to stay on induction longer than the 2 weeks but what I can't understand is why i've only lost 4 lbs since i started induction. Is this a sad amount? Am I doing something wrong. I've posted a link to my public fitday journal so anyone who might have some answers or suggestions might be able to help me. Also in the very beginning i didn't realize that I was only consuming like 500 calories for the first 3 days. Since then i've upped the calorie count. Please help...

Hi. Note that the people who lose 10 or 15 (or more!) lbs on induction start out with a lot of weight to lose. On average (and this is just a vague rule of thumb) people will lose about 10% of the weight they have to lose on induction, then 5% per month after that. So relax, you're right on track. Enjoy the ride!

Thank you so much. You don't know how much that helps my mentality. I'm just going to keep at it and don't stop and hope that everything works out in the end. Thanks again

As Kristine pointed out, it's all relative. I lost 9 lbs in the first two weeks, but I weighed twice as much as you. You're doing fine.
