I've just had a small heap of meatballs with a small sachet of Heinz mayonnaise at my desk and wondered if anyone could tell me if Heinz make their mayonnaise with sugar. It didn't tast sugary but just wanted to know. I've done a search on google for heinz but I didn't get anywhere and thought some might know. Many thanks

Most commercial mayos have a little sugar in them. But as long as sugar is well down the list of ingredients, that's acceptable.

As long as it wasn't a "light" mayo, you were probably fine.

I found the nutritional info for Heinz mayo on an Aussie site (Dietclub) and I'm presuming that the info would be the same where you are.
