Heather, you are soooo beautiful. You look great in the beach picture. Your whole body is the size of my right leg!

Terry, you are sooo encouraging. Thanks. This is a great place to come.

Angie, you're doing terrific!

That's a great picture of Annie and the baby. You know that baby is thinking "I have the best grandma". Such beautiful gifts we receive from God.

Stacy, how is the jogging going?

Jill, Karen, Zuleka and anyone else I may have missed, thanks for all your posts.

Everyone is doing so great. I actually started my WAP tapes again. Still quite a bit tired but I think the exercise may put me back on track again. Have a great day. Maureen

She is a doll baby for sure. I wanted to see her red hair, lol.

The scales tell the tale. I weighed in at 175 Monday. It wasnt all because of the blow out I had on Sunday because I had been gaining anyway. I dont know why and I will probably never know but I am trying to change some things and see if it works. No LC breads or tacos and once again I have cut out my peanut butter. I have started to jog a little inhopes of increasing my weight loss. Who knows something will work eventually.

I forgot to ask... Does anyone have a recipe for cabbage rolls. I have never eaten them but my DH likes them and he wants me to learn how to make them. I would like them to be low carb but I have no idea where to start.

Stacy there are recipes in the recipe section for cabbage rolls. I just used ground beef and didn't add rice, low carb bread or porkrinds. In my ground beef I put garlic ,salt ,pepper, worstershire sause a few drops,a couple of raw eggs and mix well. They turned out great. The trick to cabbage rolls is to get the leaves of cabbage off the head. The best method that workd for me is to put the cabbage in a big pot of water and cook the cabbage until the top leaves start coming off or get softened. Take cabbage out of water (I use a big meat carving fork and just stick it down throuigh the core of the cabbage) Cut around core and Peel off leaves until you can't anymore and just stick the head of cabbage back in boiling water and cook some more.
When you roll the cabbage, slice off the tough part at the top and put meat onto cabbage, stick the sides of the leave in and roll, secure with toothpick. Put the rolls in pot or roaster put some water in it top with crushed tomatoes and some onions. Bake on low (300) for about 4 hours--this helps soften the cabbage. Remember to warn family of the toothpicks.
Check the recipe section for additional methods.

Sheila, I am so sorry for being sooo goofy. I keep calling you Stacy from your member name. Is Stacy your beautiful daughter? I think in the thread on our Sept challenge someone gave us a stuffed cabbage recipe. If I get a chance I will check.

Angie, that recipe sounds so good. Thanks

Terry, you are such a beautiful person inside and out. Just realized the amazing weight loss accomplishment from your family!

Annie, that is such a beautiful picture. We feel the same way about you!

Hugs to everyone, Maureen

Thats ok Maureen, everyone does that. My DD name is LouRae, named after everyone but me. My Mothers middle name was Lou and my Dads and brothers name is Raymond and my DH middle name is Ray, therefore I came up with LouRAe, mostly because I wanted to name her after my Mommy.

Ill have to hunt the cabbage roll recipe. I was gonna try it to try to get in more veggies. I didnt realize you had to bake them for that long as Angie had said.

The pizza recipe is really good, I have made it for a long time and have gotten most of my family to making it.. I made it for my brother when he was here from VA and his little boy (5) asked me if I had madehim diet pizza. I dont think he ever did eat any of it.

Hi Everyone! Thanks for the kind words about little Kaylin and Grandma! Woo-hoo!

The cabbage rolls sound great. I bet the rice isn't even missed, is it Angie?

Hey girlfriends, I made a great mistake the other day! I made another batch of sf jello, and this time it turned out right. May be because I followed TerryLynne's advice to add BOILING water to the Knox. The other recipes said to pour Knox onto cold water. BLECH.

Well, it was orange, and I put a few pkts of Splenda in.
Last night I sprinkled a packet of splenda on top of the already set jello. Man oh man oh man, was it ever sooooo good! It was just like eating those orange candies that are soft and jellyish with sugar on top. Wooooowwwwww.

Then I got to thinking, how about homemade gummi bears? When I started LC'ing in April, everyone around here made them. I did an extensive search for the recipe and can't find it. Does anyone know how to make them? My jello came pretty darned close.

I'd love the recipe.

Sheila, you just hang in there. Weight fluctuates. Mine does too and thats why I just stay with my posted weight.
Annie

Hugs, Annie

Hi All!

Annie- Your granddaughter is so cute!

On another note, when I fisrt found this site I became a recipe junkie. I collected as many recipes as humanly possible....And I just looked for it in my collection, and I thought I had the gummi worm recipe. But I don't. grrr... Sorry.

Jill-I'm praying for your daughter.

Here is one recipe it is from the recipe boards.
You combine the 2 pkgs of Jello (sugar free), 4 pkgs of gelatin powder and the water in a pot on the stove and dissolve it over medium heat. Once it is completely dissolved (usually only takes a couple of minutes) you pour the liquid onto a dinner plate and refrigerate it for 20 minutes. That is all the time it needs to gel. Then you take it out and slice it into whatever shape you want.
