Default Does anyone actually LIKE Keto hot chocolate?

I bought a can of it yesterday, and all I can say is, blech. The Nestle's SF is much more palatable in my mind, even if the carb count is higher. Maybe it's the added protein in Keto.

Anyway, if I can't get the kids to drink it (doubtful) I'll be happy to give it to someone who does like it!

Funny you should mention this...I just bought a can and tried it for the first time today. It seemed slightly chalky to me, but overall it's not bad. I haven't tried any of the other brands, and maybe it's been so long since I've had hot chocolate that ANYTHING would be tasty!

I do think it would be greatly improved with a splash of heavy cream, though. Now the problem is finding a way to hide the cream in the fridge so my co-workers don't devour it in their coffee.

I like it, and I can attest that Hilary's suggestion about Heavy Cream is bang on the money. Also, a little Toasted Marshmallow DaVinci's makes it even better.

I find it quite nice. There's another brand called SipperSweets that is a little more like "high carb" hot chocolate.

Here is a recipe for homemade hot cocoa.. I personally don't like the KETO mix either..

Serves 2

2/3 C heavy cream
1 1/3 C water
2 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
2 packets sugar substitute of choice OR 2 Tbs flavored SF syrup of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and heat to almost boiling, stirring constantly. Serve garnished with whipped cream.

I have never been a huge fan of powdered drink mixes. I am actually getting ready to buy some of the new Divinci's white chocolate (SF) for making white hot coco. Also buying SF EggNog Divinci's as well for my sweety who could drink gallons of egg nog a day probably.

I like the Keto hot chocolate. As mentioned above, I also add cream to it.

I like the Keto - esp. with cream in the water then of course, lots of whipping cream on top.

I also make hot chocolate with the Miracle Sweet Chocolate bake mix - I add cream to water, heat and add the mix. Made with Xylitol and very tasty....then again, what isn't with whipping cream on top!
