Tina, I can relate. Lately I've been craving carbs, mainly sweets. It all started with cupcakes someone brought to work on Halloween. I knew better. I need to give myself a good talking to and get back on track.

Default Kaylin is born!

Hello friends!

Kaylin Marie entered the world with gusto on Nov 6 at 9:30 a.m.
She weighs 7#, 4oz and is 21-1/4 ". She has red/auburn hair in a widow's peak. Her fingers are so long and dainty.

It was a beautiful birth. Mommy and Daddy are so proud and very protective!

I went to Costco today and bought their giraffe rocking chair. It is so cute, I was digging under all these huge stuffed dogs to get ahold of one of two left!
Can't wait til Christmas!

Hugs and love to you all. I will pop in next week.
Welcome to the new ones and Maureen I had to laugh at what you wrote about your luncheon being for "huge ladies only". I know it is not what you meant and that is what makes it so funny.

Everyone take good care of yourselves.
Love, Annie-Pie

Annie,

Congratulations!!!!! May you all enjoy the amazing gift that God has created and blessed you with. She sure has a wonderful grandma. Hope Casey & Kendall get some rest and wishing Kendall a speedy recovery. Your girls must be off the walls becoming "Aunties".

I went back and read my post. That does sound pretty silly. It was an amazing night. Wish each and everyone of you could have come. 800 women in a healthy environment with food and holiday ideas with an awesome prescence of God.

Have a great day tomorrow and hope Kailyn enjoys her first Saturday. Blessings, Maureen

Congrats Annie. Another red head. I told everyone that I was gonna have a red headed baby and sure enough I did. She still has it and it is beautiful.

Liddle: I made the bread, every one hated it. I thought it was ok after I made an egg salad sandwhich out of it. It is better than no bread at all. I just poured everything in a bread pan and cut it after it was finished. I think it would make good pancakes if you had lc syrup for it. It looks like angel food cake when it is finished. Let me know if you try it and like it.

I havent cheated this whole month but it is getting hard not to. I havent seen any change and I have been working my butt off. Its times like this that are hard to get through but I am doing my best to not cheat at least until Thanksgiving and then Ihave to eat my birthday pie. So if I do good until then, I might not feel so guilty about eating it. I can tell that my flab is tightening up but it isnt getting any smaller. I have been trying to jog on the treadmill and all I can make it at a time is 2 or 3 minutes. Guess I'm not meant to be a runner, lol.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. DH is off so I probably wont be back on til Monday. Dont forget thats weigh in day, wishing everyone good luck, especially me, lol.

Stacy- I wonder if it makes a difference but I think you're suppose to put it on a cookie sheet. Plop a spoonful down, spread it around, then bake.
No, haven't tried it yet. Still sticking to the basics for a little while yet. The scale hasn't moved past 129 and I would like to try to do everything in my power to get it down just a little bit more. I figure 124-125lbs. That way even when I'm bloated I'll still be in the 120's

Stacy- you said the magic word "pancakes". The bread is in the oven as we speak!

I know exactly what you mean. We ALL go through it. I think it's what separates the true LCers from the people who are just using this as a quick weight loss! It's a true life style change! I bet $ even if you had a cheat, you'd hop right back on the LC wagon! It's a part of you now! Use this board for support! When ever you feel like it might not be worth it, get on the board. Write about it here, in your joural, or help a newbie with thier desire to cheat.

Have a great weekend!
Heather

Annie: Gratulations on the new baby girl. They are so adorable when they are so small. Can't wait for pictures.
Stacy and Heather I think my scale might be talking to your scales. The scale will move up and move down but won't stay at one place for long and won't go under 200 lbs. This weekend I won't get my walking in so we will see how that works with the scale.

Annie - Thank God for a healthy baby and mommy! And a healthy Grandma to support them!

Karen - Keep your chin up, this is a journey and you are doing great and I know you will see your goal.

Stacysheil - your dedication and determination are an inspiration to all of us. I know you will REAP an awesome Harvest from all you have been Sowing. (how's that for a thanksgiving, harvest time encouragement )

Heather - thanks for sticking with us and helping us see that this can be done! You keep me hopeful

AngieK - I am so excited for you! Onederland is just a breath away for you! I can hardly wait till I can join you there!

Maureen - Praying for good results on your blood work.

Tina - are you feeling any better? I sure hope so! I know how hard it is to function when your emotions are unstable...

Sarah - WOW Three Pounds! Sure love that Whoosh Fairy, but be sure and don't give her ALL the credit, I'm sure you had something to do with that great news! We just copy and paste the weight chart at the bottom of the posts and then add our weights. You'll want to get your starting weight and that Whoosh recorded

Jill - will be praying for your darling daughter and for you! Sounds like quite an ordeal, cast on both feet! Hopefully she'll be able to run like a gazelle when this is all behind her! Too bad Moms can't claim mileage as a job expense... we'd have quite the tax deduction!!!!

TexLady - How are your cravings doing? I'm hoping they are getting better. I was eating SF Chocolates and Atkins Endulge bars almost everyday, they brought back all my cravings, 3 pounds of weight, and knocked me out of ketosis. I don't trust the net carbs thing in regard to sugar alcohols anymore. I quit eating them cold Turkey( ) and am back in ketosis, cravings are gone, and I've lost the 3 pounds plus 2 more! No more SF candy for me! Not worth it! (stopping the SF candy was the only thing I changed, so it was obviously my problem) I still have my peanut butter and coffee

Zuleka - Good Morning friend

CindyLynn - maybe we are sisters, we have the same second half of our names... Congrats on staying out of your sister's candy. And on coming up w/ an alternative to popcorn! pepperoni chips sound wonderful!

Hi everyone:
I hope your weekend went well. This weigh in on Mondays works really well for me. We had an early, early christmas for my dad and his partner as they are flying off to Mexico for 2 months. Everytime I thought of having a piece of cake, potatoe salad or the other sweets , I thought of the weigh-in on Monday. I did not eat those bad things.
This week I stayed the same, my scale is not being kind to me. My pants are loser so I have lost inches( well maybe only parts of inches). Thanks for all your support.
