Default When do you change your stats?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it in the search. I changed my stats today and i'm feeling a bit iffy about it. I went to bed 210.8 and woke up 208.8 and surpassed my next minigoal. In the past I waited a few days to make sure I didn't go back up. I'm wondering how long others wait before making it official?

I change it the second that I get the lower number on the scale. I generally tend not to go back up, so I feel safe doing this.

I'm a lot more prompt changing them when it goes DOWN than up!

I used to wait until my "official" weigh-in date. I'm aiming for a once-a-week change now.

I do exactly the same. I celebrate and change it when I see the new low. I know for sure that the scale will go up (it has been my pattern and I´m glad I catch it And then, I just wait for the next lower reading...

I don't make a change in stats until official weigh-in day.

changing stats when you see them is like cheating to me because I will not write down a gain when it happens the next day.
If I leave it till the official day then i'm almost guaranteed that it won't go up.

My official weigh-in day is Saturday morning, first thing. I find I weight my lowest at this time, since I usually sleep an embarassingly-long 10-12 hours on Friday nights (making up for the rest of the week!). I think all that sleep helps me drop to my lowest weight.

Anyway...I change the stats on Monday morning when I get back to work, since I don't check this site over the weekend. If the number is higher than my current stats, I don't change anything. I know it will go back down eventually.

I seem to dip down, then bounce up a couple of pounds for a while, then dip lower again... I figure if I see it, I earned it!

I change mine when I've held at the same weight for two days in a row....both down & up! I try to only weigh twice a week.

Same with me, I only weigh once a week, usually Wednesday or Thursday, since I tend to eat more on weekends (calories not carbs) it gives me a few days to get back to reality. If its up or the same I don't change anything (usually never up more than a pound) just wait to get back
Made my mini goal of getting under 120 today!

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the great responces. I'm actualy down another pound this morning. And I think i'm going to change it in my stats. I am one of the many who weigh every day. Up untile yesterday I never changed my stats untile my official weigh in on Monday. For many years( at least 5) I avoided the scale like the plague. I can't even say if I gained it fast or slow because I was always afraid to look. Now, I look! I want to know what my body's doing. I don't have water weight shifts for no reason. If im retaining, its either from TOM, cheating or Salt. If I cheated then I desearve the weight gain, if its TOM I can usualy look at the calender and tell, if its salt i'm slacking on the water and eating to much sodium. Weighing doesnt stress me out at all. By the way the one time i really cheated I avoided the scale for a week... no asperations whatsoever to get on it... Just like when I was gaining for those five years.

My weight fluctuates for several days. I'll drop in the morning and then be back up in the evening. This will happen for several days. Then, boom, it will remain the same for the morning and at night. That's the day, I make the change.
