Cool I'm a newbie!

Hello all! Just wanted to write a quick note to say hello and introduce myself! My name is Sarah and I am 12 days into my new "Low Carb Lifestyle". I'm enjoying it so far because I've dropped 10 lbs. so far, but I'm afraid I might get bored with it due to the lack of my favorite foods. My biggest beef with this is that all the low-carb food is sooooo expensive!! I'm a first year teacher and don't get paid much, so keeping up with this has cost a lot so far. But, I think I am motivated enough to keep going with it. I'm seeing results and I love it! Any advice and tips would be much appreciated from all the pros around here! See ya'll later!

Welcome Sarah!
I know it can get boring if you don't start eating in a different way. On the top of the page here is a link to low card recipes. Give it a look. You can start eating faux potatoes made with cauliflower yum yum, and at Sherrie's low carb recipes website are a number of interesting things. Pancakes made out of pork rinds that taste like whole wheat. Doesn't that sound great? I know it sounds weird but it works.
Anyway, have fun learning a new WOE!

I wrote a whole reply and it didn't work, Oh well I'll do it again.

Welcom Sarah!
I know that this WOE will get boring if you don't learn to eat differently. At the top of this page is a link to low carb recipes where you can learn such things as faux potatoes made out of cauliflower yummy, and at Sherrie's low carb recipes wbsite there is a recipe for pancakes made out of pork rinds. That sounds great doesn't it? I know, It sounds weird but it works and tastes just like whole wheat.
Anyway, Happy eating!
