Default Corn Starch Replacement Needed !

Hi Everyone i have been using Guar Gum as a Coornstarch replacement
but i am having reactions using this so i stopped.
I need help with a Low Carb Corn Starch replacement that i could use
to Thicken with. Please post chioces to choose from.

The only one i've tried is ThckenThin Nostarch or Notstarch
I've only used it twice, it works good, but is expensive

I found an AWESOME product called glucomannan powder. You can find it at http://www.konjacfoods.com/order/

Use it for anything: thicken sauces or soups, make puddings (yum! I made a great vanilla pudding from this powder and stevia and heavy cream and eggs the other night - TWO carbs per serving)

I use peanut butter in stir fries. Other nut butters would work too I expect.

What about gelatin?

the only prob with gelatin is that in high heat it doesn't work (at least the kind I know)
