Default Quick Pilates Question....

I started an at home Pilates video 4 times a week. It is 20 minutes long and uses the ball and weights. Is this going to do anything for me? Or am I really copping out on this exercise thing and need to find a gym?

I should mention that my Abs are really sore after one week of this! LOL

You know, I did a pilates tape for a while - the one with out weights or balls or mats or anything - and it really did help a lot. I just hate excersizing like that so I stopped, but, pilates really does do the body good.

I used to do just Pilates (and power walking), and found that I couldn't get through even the modified versions of the exercises. Then a couple of weeks ago I started weight training. The difference has been astounding. Even that little bit of weight training made me so much stronger that I can now do the whole beginners' tape. So I'd advise adding some other exercise to the mix, too.
