Question polyalcohols?

How do polyalcohols affect the carb count of foods? Do we subtract the number of polyalcohols from the ECC? That seems too good to be true.

Look up at the top of the page, in the orange stripe. Click on Low Carb Tips & read the excellent article on Sugar Alcohols that Doreen has written.

It may be 'too good to be true'. Some people manage well on them but others stall. You'll just have to try.

Thanks Tofi, for the tip, and Doreen, thank you for the wealth of information you've put at our fingertips. I've been doing a lot of reading here, these last few weeks, but mostly posts and journals, mining precious encouragement and information from them. Now I'll start reading everthing in the headings and sidebars!
