Unhappy Doing something wrong with the sweet pork rinds..

Ok guys, i tried the sweet pork rind recipe last night, and something odd happened, they got all soggy, and really chewy. Did i use too much butter? Also, after you make them are they supposed to be refridgerated or left out? I put them in the fridge, that could be why too. Also, does anyone know the carb count on cinnamon, i cant seem to find it in the orange bar. Thanks!!

Talking pork rinds

Hey-- i have made these and they are great.
when they become soggy-just put them in a warm oven and they will crisp up again.

here's the actual recipe

they are called cinnamon crispas.

I was told that if you pour the melted butter over the pork rinds while it is too hot it will make them soggy. I'm not sure if it would, but to be on the safe side I let the butter cool a while before I pour it over and so far I have not had soggy ones. good luck

Default Try this

I have taken the pork rinds and put them in a larger plastic bag, mixed the cinnamon and Splenda in a bowl and poured it on them without any butter. The mixture sticks, it's sweet and salty and no mess. After I mix them, I separate into smaller ziplocks so that I don't eat the whole bag in one sitting.

Hope this helps, enjoy.
