Question what happens when the fat is gone??????

i was just wondering what happens when the fat is gone and all you are left with is skin. i mean, weight loss this fast is kinda like having a baby right? then you are left with sagging skin and stretch marks. is there anything beyond surgery to help with that? i've already got the sagging skin from baby. but i intend to lose more weight i'd like to know what i can do to help improve the situation.. any suggestions would be sooooo appreciated.

You want to lose about 40 pounds? At your age, you shouldn't have significant skin (except abdominal from baby) if the fat is gone. The others with 100 plus pounds are those with skin that just doesn't snap back as easily-if at all. I've lost 44 pounds and the only real loose skin is my lower abdomen. The rest is starting to snug up.

I have lost 61 pounds and i am 10 years older than you and I do still have stretch marks though much more thinner and lighter in color than before. i still have excessive skin on lower abdomen but I ahve had 2 children with 2 c sections and this is not all that bad. the rest of the skin firmed up nicely.

My advice drink plenty of water and toning exercises and walking seem to help.

thanks for the insight. i was just worried about it a little, cuz i went up to 190 after my son was born, and had him, and i didn't lose a pound. and everything on me just seemed to sag. i went from no boobs to saggy boobs. and i was only 18. i did yo yo dieting for two years to get down to 180-175, then i started this. i am so happy with this diet. the results are amazing. my goal isn't pre baby weight, i think now with all the expanding i did, would look sickly at 120 lbs. i want to look healthy.

Exercise is wonderful!

Everything is tightening up for me - although I've been really into the exercise, because I LOVE the results. When I was big everything sagged, now... I'm a tight size 6! YEAH

Some of those firming creams really do work as well. You might want to try those. Also, some people have done what is called "skin brushing" which helps tighten skin up. Just put skin brushing in the search box. Basically you get a stiff or medium bristle brush and brush your skin before you shower. It helps stimulate the lymphatic system.
