This one is funny. My old scale, the one STBDH broke by on it, used to be called "the clown scale" because the way the needle would go halfway (yay! I weigh 89 pounds today), pause (uh-oh), zip up to "there must be somebody standing on this thing with me" weight, then, settle down to real (but still negotiable with a few ) weight.
I sure do miss that scale.

Don't feel bad, I broke the towel rack that way.

Oh man that is just to funny. But only because of how true some of those can be. I have a friend doing W.W. and he even has to shave before he gets on the scale to get rid of those nano grams

LMAO here also! DH is sitting here reading these with me and we're getting a real kick out of the answers.

He weighs himself before he goes to bed to determine how many times he has to get up in the middle of the night to pee and weigh himself again until he gets the desired results!!!!

Poor guy! You guys think you've got it bad! It must be his over 50 yr old bladder or else he's an addict for sure! LOL!!

11) When the scales don't register a drop you reach for the measuring tape....it probably came off in inches!

I have long hair, and filled with all that water must be at least an extra 3 pounds! I also won't weight til after that cup of coffee has done it's job.....

I am a scale addict...If i don't like the number i move the scale around the room to make it more level ya know...or maybe to another room because the whole bathroom must be unlevel today.

I always try to weigh before going to bed to see how much more I weigh at night then when I get up and to guess how much I will weigh in the morning of course after peeing!!!

I'm definitely an addict! But I must be a closet addict.

My scale is in the bathroom and when anyone is nearby (DH or kids) I quietly tap the scale (it's digital and you have to tap it, wait for 000 then get on), and slowly get on so as not to make any noise. Then rejoice that it hasn't gone up.

I'm really scared someone will find out I'm off and on the darn scale all day

THis is SO true it is a little scary! I must weigh myselt 10 times a day if I weigh once. I know it is self-destructive and I have tried to make my dh hide the scale, but I can't live without it! (I must say I am as addicted to my food scale)...
