Default Torturing Low Fat dieters

I may just be twisted, but I have to say I've been getting a big kick out of torturing my low-fat co-workers. I have heard so much garp about how bad my diet is that I've begun to enjoy eating juicy steaks or chops with my spinach salad and lc cheesecake dripping in whipcream and strawberries in front of them saying: "MMMMMM diet food!"
Several have admitted that I'm driving them batty losing weight while eating "that crap." -Need I mention they're all nurses too?

*lol* Yes, eating real food and real quantities is definitely a perk to this WOL - doing it in front of others is the icing on that LC cake.

I work in an office full of women, many of whom are trying to lose weight. I have to endure the smell of non fat microwave popcorn, frozen dinner entres being cooked in the mike and toast for breakfast. I think it's only fair they get to smell my chicken wings, tacoless taco salad and chicken with havarti and tomato sauce cooking up as well !

I don't blame you for gloating a bit if they have been on you about your "bad" diet. We DO get to eat wonderful food! (Remember rice cakes?) I'm so fortunate to work with people who don't make negative comments about my food even though they don't eat this way. Neither one has good eating habits or exercises but they are sweet people. I'm trying to influence by quiet example - they know what I'm doing and see the results but so far have not converted. They even comment on how good my food looks and smells.

LOL! I love doing that too. It totally shocks people what you can eat and still lose weight. That's why I could never go back to low-fat diets. Now that I'm accustomed to my way of eating, low-fat seems far more restrictive in what I can and cannot eat.

I admit I've done it a few times. I'm visiting my family soon, and I'm looking forward to being able to do it in front of them while showing off the 30+ pound weight loss.

You probably having them run home and searching the net for low carb to see what they are missing. Low fat is definately harder to follow and most of the food tastes like cardboard . Rice cakes Yuck!!!

Priceless!!! Isn't it nice to be able to eat on this WOL? I watched friends starve on their lowfat diets, determined to stick it out and not lose a thing, rather than admit they were wrong. Lowfat/low calorie diets do work for awhile, but everyone I know that tried it that way has never stuck with it and gained back all their weight.

Yes, My Dear

Living well is the best revenge. Losing weight by enjoying what you're eating. You can't beat it.

Dry salad with no cheese or dressing, rice cakes, a banana, maybe some non fat yogurt...

vs.
your delicious meals.
What a picture that must be.
