Smile Want to say "Hi"

Hi!
I just found this forum. I have been on here for about a week and I love it!
I felt like I should introduce myself!
I'm Bess!
I was on Protein Plan for about a year and lost 55lbs! Started at 220 and worked my way down. My goal was 150 and almost got there when I had some health problems and had surgery. Fell off the wagon, out of being bored with being laid up. Put on 30 lbs and I feel bad that I am back up. I have been trying to get back on board myself but haven't done very well. Best results were maintenance of my current weight. But I found this site and in a week it has helped!

I am very " creatively challenged" in the kitchen and thru some discussions with Shadow1, and your recipes I have a new outlook on things and so far in a week I have lost 2 lbs and feel like I am finally back on the plan.

When I feel like eating I come to the computer instead and enjoy looking around and answering posts from the day before. I am thinking ahead now about meals and feel like I might(?) be back in control. The hunger is still there! But in about a week I know the cravings will stop....looking forward to that!

Hi Bess & welcome!
This forum is a great source for support & ideas. It has helped me more than I ever expected it could.
You can start a journal, that helps me be accountable for what I eat if I am writing it down.
Good luck LCing!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!
Still don't get what a journal is for and why do one?
Anyone like to let me know the benefits and how often you do it?
