Default Blue Bunny...Long post..

Hey everyone! I was checkin out all the Blue Bunny Splenda sweetened icecream at Super Walmart the other day (froze my butt of reading all the labels!). The icecream seems a bit high in carbs, and Im content with LeCarb when I actually WANT icecream, but the chocolate bars are lower in carbs than the icecream, and looked pretty good. There is 1 called Sweet Freedom Icecream Lites with a smooth chocolate coating and vanilla icecream in the middle on a popcicle stick and then one thats the same except the coating has crunchie things in it called Sweet Freedom Crunch Lites. Heres the info on both...

For the Icecream Lites:
Cal. 90
Carb. 10
Sugar 2
Sugar Alcohols 4

Ingredients: Lite Ice Cream: Milk, Nonfat Milk, Polydextrose, Sorbitol, Maltodextrin, Whey Protein Concentrate, Glycerine, Cellulose Gel, Carob Bean Gum, Sucralose, Mono & Diglycerides, Guar Gum, Carrageenan, Vanilla Extract, Vanillin, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin A Palmitate, Annatto (For Color).
Coating: Vegetable Oil (Coconut, Soybean), Lactitol, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Chocolate Liquor, Whey, Soy Lecithin, Artificial Flavor, Sucralose.
Allergen Information: Contains milk

For the Crunch Lites
Same as the reg ones...

Ingredients: Lite Ice Cream: Milk, Nonfat Milk, Polydextrose, Sorbitol, Maltodextrin, Whey Protein Concentrate, Glycerine, Cellulose Gel, Carob Bean Gum, Sucralose, Mono & Diglycerides, Guar Gum, Carrageenan, Vanilla Extract, Vanillin, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin A Palmitate, Annatto (For Color).
Coating: Vegetable Oil (Coconut, Soybean), Lactitol, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Whey, Chocolate Liquor, Rice (Rice, Salt, Malt), Soy Lecithin, Vanillin, Sucralose.
Allergen Information: Contains milk.

Which one would be a better choice? Or neither?

Also...
The Sweet Freedom Sugar Free Pops...
Cal. 15
Carb. 4
Sugar Alcohols 3

Ingredients: Water, Sorbitol, Lactitol, Polydextrose, Citric Acid, Flavorings (Water, Gum Arabic, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Gum Tragacanth, Propylene Glycol, Red 40, Yellow 6, Yellow 5, Caramel Color, Citric Acid, Lactic Acid, Sodium Benzoate as Preservative), Cellulose Gum, Sucralose.

Are these okay?

And last..
The Lite85 yogurt..for the Vanilla Creme...
Cal. 80
Carb 13
Sugars 8 (that doesnt make sense if its supposed to be SF)

Ingredients: Cultured Pasteurized Grade A Fat Free Milk, Flavor Base (Vanilla and Crème Flavor with Other Natural Flavors, Modified Food Starch, Citric Acid, Sucralose, Potassium Sorbate as Preservative, Annatto, Yellow 5), Whey Protein Concentrate, Modified Food Starch, Gelatin, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin D3.

Okay, sorry its so long! Thanks guys for your expertness haha

I get the crunch ones for my son, they are a tad high carb for me though. I try not to spend to many carbs all at once. He loves them though, and they don't upset his stomach like some of the candies containing sugar alcohol.

I buy the coated, non-crunch bars. They are pretty good, but too high in carbs to eat everyday. Good news is the memory of one holds me for quite a while.

I love Blue Bunny. I treat myself once or twice a week. Don't forget, you SUBTRACT the sugar alcohols to get the net carbs. If you are on maintenance, 6 carbs really aren't much.

No sugar ADDED means the sugars are naturally occuring in the ingredients, mainly milk sugars I'm sure. I don't have enough "spare" carbs to use these, but I do buy the Schwan's sf cups for my son, in case I lose it and eat ice cream, I'm not doing as much damage.lol... he doesn't miss it, and it's hard to feed him (he needs help with certain foods due to motor skills problem) without having a taste...this way a taste is no problem!
