Hi all!
I honestly can say that a " reward meal" for me is a mute point. After I tried some Karens Recipe's ,especially the cauliflower (which I freeze in 1/2 cup portions ) I will probably never eat another potato! I feel that the reward meal tends to give the impression of deprivation . For me the rewards are the bread I make with flax seed meal and soy protein, spread with butter and low carb jam warmed in the micro topped with a little cream ,also my own baked custard with "edge" lo carb shake =4carbs-2fibre,2 eggs=2 carbs,4tbs heavy cream + splenda to taste. This makes about 4 1/2 cup desserts.Probably no more than 3 carbs each. Karens hash browns made with daikon radish and a multitude of fabulously well thought out recipes should eliminate the mostly pschycological need for rewards, even on vacation I was not even tempted. Well! thats how I'm dealing with the whole thing anyway! and its working I have lost 7 of the 10lbs I have to lose. It is a good dea to try some recipes rather than just eating the basic meats, eggs ,cheese etc.
Its worth a try eh?
