Question Glucosamine?

I'm considering trying Glucosamine for joint pain (at least until I can lose enough weight to where my joints don't hurt anymore). Has anyone had trouble losing while using Glucosamine??

Thanks in advance,
Lauren

I take glucosamine chondroitin regularly and have lost 14 - 16 lbs. in about three weeks. I don't know if that will help you, but it's been okay for me.

Thumbs up

I take Glucosamine daily and it definitely helps with my back problems. My husband also takes it for his shoulder problems. Neither one of us have had any problems with weight loss while taking it.

I've been taking Glucusamine/Choichrondrin (sorry, spelling is wrong) for almost two years now, and it didn't seem to slow me down at all.
And it does do wonders.

I do take a third of the recommended dose because I don't really have problems yet, just heading off trouble in the future.

From all my years of playing sports my right knee now has teh beginning of arthritis (found out after tearing a tendon and having surgery).

My doctor recommended I use this and i can tell you from experience of not being able to walk through the mall with out excrusiating pain and the knee swelling up to a softball to being able to run around the yard with my kids without pain.....

Plus if it slows my weight loss down a bit so be it but i am loosing weight so I say take it and dont worry...

but again i am no doctor and from what i have read about it i dont see how it could slow down weight loss from what both of them do to your system.
