Question Has anyone taken a food inventory

Today I went to the super market with my wife and we did'nt need much groceries. Then I thought I don't eat junk food anymore. This has been happening over the weeks scence I've been doing this WOE.We have cookie jars half full, full gallons of milk, loads of half gallons of icecream in the freezer and the candy jar is half full and also unopened boxes of cereal .I used to think the kids were eating everything up and come to find out it was me.

LOL, I know what you mean, I'm having to throw away stale cheezits and crackers! I've had a snickers bar in the fridge forever, I keep reaching over it for sliced cheese!

During the first week of induction I went a bit crazy one day and opened up the pantry and started bagging up anything and everything we couldn't eat! Some of it went to the neighbors, some of it went to our kids, and the rest we took to a local food bank! My DH said I'd lost it, but I told him if it was in my face I WOULD EAT IT!!!!

Now, I have so many aisles at the grocery I just skip entirely and DH and I go shopping together. Each trip we find something new we're allowed to eat! Wal-Mart has a low carb bread on the shelf called Nature's Own Wheat and Fiber and it's only 5 net carbs. It's great, doesn't taste any different than regular wheat! We'll fix one sandwich and split it so we're not getting the whole ten carbs. You gotta try this stuff!

Out with the old WOE and in with the new!!!!

Same here with the pantry. Thing is though, with the extra shelf room I've begun storing things like bird seeds, potting soil, fish tank thingies and food and medication for our cats so it looks like a vet has moved in!!!
