Default I am such an addict.

I don't spend that much time on the computer, mostly because I have an uncomfortable chair...
But I have always liked message boards! Never chat rooms or email, but message boards. And these boards are the ultimate. I can't pull myself away.
My low carb lifestyle takes over a lot of my time right now, and it is even my hobby to accumulate information on nutrition. Before this I was always trying to collect info on how the body re-acted to various exercises and conditioning, then I was interested in finding out about herbs and vitamins and how they functioned in the body. Still, the last thing I would want to do is be a doctor or anything of that sort.
I want to say, I love this forum, and some of you all are really smart

Now that I am not addicted to sugar anymore, I seem to be developing a mild case of mssg board posting compulsion. Better that than carbs though, I guess

Don't worry about mssg board compulsion. Unless you reach the rate of 25+ posts a day over at least a month. You are at less than 6 posts a day. You are OK.

I can so relate. There is so much good information here that all I want to do is read, read, read! I've only been doing this since July, so I'm hoping the obsession will wear off soon and it will just be a new good habit!

I totally agree. I find myself checking this message board as soon as I get to work (I know company time??? ) just to get information and to chat to a few folks.

I defintely can find myself coming to this site 4-5 times a day. But hey thats cool..it's what helps me stay in line!!!

I have been a mssg board addict for almost 4.5years! I have left most of my parenting boards and mostly frequent this site actually. It really was a gold mine find!

edited to add.... I just noticed that I average almost 13 posts per day..lol thats truth proof to my previous statement.

the great part of this message board is that everyone is so nice. No one is snobby. No one is insulting (for the most part). Everyone is in the same boat, and everyone supports eachother. It's a rare thing among message boards on the internet.
With a lot of message board forums, you need to lurk around awhile in order to get a feel for what people are like. If you post out of nowhere, you tend to get barked at... and this forum is not like that. It's very welcoming.
I am also addicted to this message board. It's a good, healthy motivator!!! I don't think that I could do low carb without everyone's support.

Thanks.
