Default what causes the mood swings?

seriously! I feel so great than BAM I feel irritated and feel like swearing (totaly out of character for me). I feel so happy like I am doing so well then BAM I feel like a loser who's getting no where....

what the HECK is wrong with me??? could it just be stress? my life is really crazy and this whole year has been like a nightmare for the most part...only recently are things normalizing...so it'll take a bit more before the stress goes away...

Didn't you mention you were also weaning a child? The hormonal shifts from THAT nailed me worse than PMS!

What about vitamins? If your body is lacking a certain nutrient, you could be suffering in some ways because of it. That might help even just a little.

Estrogen and other fun stuff is stored in fat cells. As you lose weight it is released in your body where it gets to travel a bit, then is removed. Overweight women have a higher level of estrogen. You also have better blood sugar and insulin control. Then there is the fun withdrawls from carbs, sugars, and maybe caffine.

Then of course there are just really idiotic people in this world that seem to strive to be as annoying as possible.... Even non dieting or LC people want to throttle them

Did someone say you were weaning a baby? You really shouldn't be in ketosis while nursing...the baby would get the ketones in your milk.....Ketones are like poison. I waited till I weaned mine to start LC eating. I wouldn't take any chances with my baby's health if I were you. Remeber how freaked out you were the other day when the baby got that rash...what if it was something more and your fault for being in ketosis...wouldn't you feel awful? Your little one should be more inportant than losing weight!

I am not trying to be harsh, I was just surprised to find that anyone would be inketosis and nursing!

Ketones are acidic byproducts of metabolising body and/or dietary fat in absence of adequate carbohydrate intake. I dont know for sure how this would hurt a child or not, but a baby is such a fragile little thing i wouldnt take any chances at all with being in ketosis and being pregnant/nursing. Why risk it? You can always diet later, but your babies early years will affect him forever.

Wenzday,

I get terribly moody too on this WOE - I dont know why but I have learned to just keep myself in check. I havent gone 3 weeks w/o cheating, so maybe I never hit the mark where I wouldn't feel this way. For me I think perhaps it has to do with caffine withdrawl - I dont know - but l sure wish I did!!!!
