Thumbs up My latest victory

I have been in a stall for two weeks (my body just does NOT want to go into onederland), and yet I continue to lose inches like crazy. Go figure...

And today I am wearing dress slacks to work, belted, WITH MY SHIRT TUCKED IN!!!

Yay me!

Anyone else have little victories to report today? I'd like to hear anything you have, for added support through this holiday weekend.

Oh, and have a very happy, safe, and low carb labor day weekend everyone!!

Jeannie

Hiya!
Congrats on your little victory

I have a little one today too - my weight loss has restarted after 2 weeks of being very slow (the normal 3rd/4th/5th week thing) - a kilogram gone in two days! And I'm wearing a shirt to work that I never wore before cos it was too tight and bulgy

Have a good weekend!
Steven

Hi Sinbad,

Thanks for the congrats. I'm only sharing this small victory with this board and with my husband...those of us who have been there truly understand how wonderful it is to be able to wear belted pants and not be embarassed to appear in public.

And congratulations to you too! It's sometimes hard to keep to this WOE when the scale isn't cooperating, but you stuck to it. Good for you!!

Jeannie

I tried on some dress slacks the other day, tucked in the shirt, put on the belt. ICK! My body isn't ready for that yet. LOL

Congrats to you for pulling it off!!!!

My little victory is that my loss has picked back up after being pretty slow for a few weeks. I feel like I'm melting again!!!

Good for you! You'll be able to tuck in that shirt in no time. I guess sometimes it pays to be tall...I'm 5'9" and have a very dense build so I'm lucky...I'm told that I carry my extra weight well (whatever that means -- I take it to mean that I don't LOOK like I weigh 200 pounds).

Congrats Jeannie!!! Can't wait until I can tuck my shirt in.

Tonight I'm going to a baseball game (Marlins, of course), I went out & bought a new shirt. My old Marlins shirts are now night-shirts. Anyway, I bought a regular size large shirt. I never tried it on in the store...tried it on this morning & it fits (real well I might add). 4 months ago I was wearing a 2x, so needless to say I'm THRILLED!!!!

Congrats on your little victory!

My little victory was yesterday - I pulled my favorite shirt from before my son was born out of the closet. It hasn't fit me in at least 5 years, but it fit yesterday! It felt SO good to wear it! The best part? It is pretty form fitting and also printed with horizontal stripes, and it did not make me look like a circus tent!

I went shopping last night as I'm meeting a new friend in SF this weekend (I'm SO excited!). I tried on pants and shirts that were NOT in the plus size section and they fit!!!

Congratulations!

My small victory yesterday: I have this great looking outfit with fairly fitted pants that stretch. I tried them on yesterday and it was a little loose around the legs, instead of my thighs looking like little (or big, rather) sausages in there. Yippee!

congrats! I am almost in your shoes! I wore my shirt tucked in with a cute new belt I wanted to show off and only lasted about an hour at work before the shirt came out. I'm too used to loose clothing-have to work up to it! I can fully understand the self-conciousness involved-I still have a bulgy belly.

Hi everyone,

Just want to post WOW on everyone's success so far. I too am happy. To date I have lost a total of 43 lbs. It truly amazes me that I am gone this far w/out even trying to look back. Last night, I tried on a pair of jeans that were a size 16 and they fit!!! TIGHT AS ALL GET OUT, but they fit. What is so funny, last year I was 15 lbs heavier and the jeans were just as tight then. So I defintely think w/ this WOE and exercise, I am changing my whole body.

Thanx to everyone on this board for all of their wonderful insights and remarks. You all are very special people to me and I know when times get tough, the tough come check out the boards!!!!
