hello, I've purchased something called "At Last Chocolate Truffle" made by Carbolite. These are pretty tasty, not as good as PureDelite. Good thing about this chocolate is that it's sweetend with Splenda
It has 1g of impact carbs (15g carb - 5g fiber - 9g sugar alcohol).
It's also enriched with magnesium, chromium and zinc.

Just wanted to share with everyone. I thought it was a nice treat.
I found these in Walgreens. I also saw some Atkins Ice Cream in the freezer there. Nice to know we have more choices now, eh?

You HAVE to try Russell Stovers chocolate lc truffles! They are sooo good! One of the main reasons I am so happy on this woe, are the really good substitues for candy. The RS truffles have only .2 impact carbs. My favorite's are the peppermint patties and the toffee bars.

Last night i bought... Hershey's No sugar mini chocolate bars... and NS added Reese's cups..
I have heard you guys discuss the "negative" effects of these candies and thought i was immune to that.... Guess What??? i am not immune..
in the bathroom all morning at work... sucks.. and they tasted awesome... i guess i will keep them around for when i need them...

I like the hersheys sugar free too, but I seriously MUST keep them to a minimum....

yeah, the Hershey's has some bad effects on me too... maybe if I could eat just ONE... LOL... but the Russell Stover's seems to give me no trouble... and I love the mint patties. YUM!

I think I've tried almost every brand of SF chocolates out there, and my #1 favorite was PureDelite. It tastes so wonderful and creamy. Also, while Hershey's gave me that ill effect, PureDelite did not.

The Carbolite products gave me the absolute worst gas ever so I stopped purchasing them long time ago, but these 'At Last' brand appears to be ok.
I just thought that there were no chocolates sweetened with Splenda?? I could be wrong ..

Splend is not a sugar alcohol, so if it's got 9 grams of sugar alcohol in it, there's another sweetener in there too, most likely lactitol.
When they tested the At Last products, it seemed from their test results that less people were sensitive to Lactitol than were sensitive to Maltitol, but that doesn't mean that everyone won't have a problem with even the Lactitol. As always, YMMV so consume cautiously until you know what effect it will have on your body.

My mileage certainly varies: having read the review of lactitol,I decided to try some and found it even more diarrheic than maltitol. For me, sugar alcohols are poison and I won't touch any of them again.
